Cookies
In short: this website does not track you. No analytics, no advertising. The only thing that can set cookies is the Google Maps map, and it only loads with your consent.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device by a website you visit. It lets the site recognise you from one page or one visit to the next. In France, article 82 of the French Data Protection Act (“Informatique et Libertés”) requires your consent before any cookie that is not strictly necessary is set.
Cookies set by this website
The website itself sets none. It has no analytics tool, no advertising pixel, no share button loaded from a social network, no customer account and no online payment. The fonts, photos and videos are hosted on the website itself: no request is sent to a third-party service to display them.
The links to Instagram and to the restaurant's Google listing are plain links: these platforms are only contacted if you click on them.
The Google Maps map and your choice
The Home and Contact pages offer a map to locate the restaurant. This map is provided by Google, which sets cookies as soon as it loads. So it never loads on its own.
On these two pages, a banner lets you accept or refuse, with a single click either way. If you accept, the map is shown straight away, on this visit and the following ones. If you refuse, nothing is sent to Google: the map is replaced by a photo of the restaurant front and a “Show the map” button, which only loads it if you decide to.
Either way, the address is written out in full and the “Directions” button opens Google Maps in a separate tab. Your answer is kept in your browser's storage (not in a cookie), on your device only, and is shared with no one.
Change your choice
You can change your mind at any time, as easily as you answered:

Manage cookies in your browser
You can also view, block or delete cookies in your browser: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge. Blocking cookies does not stop you from using this website.
